It has been a really long time since I have had time to blog. We have moved into the townhouse, but there is still so much work to be done as we settle in. I have to think carefully about where I want to place certain items as the layout of the townhouse is very different from the house on Allden Place. The townhouse is more contemporary with an open layout to the main floor. Here are some pictures of what the townhouse looks like:
The thing is, I have to re-think my decorating style.
Tea cups and lace do not feel at home here at all.
I've been doing some serious research on how to blend this urban looking townhouse with my carefree style.
Stay tuned.....I think I have found a new style.

ReplyDeleteThanks Doreen.....I am having a problem deciding how to decorate this little gem. I love Pottery Barn style, but cannot afford those prices! Also really like the Funky Junk Look...and industrial folk/antique look as well...those last two would be lots of fun to create. Just am not sure I feel like starting all over again with search and rescue of items...would be easier to just buy nice new items or Pottery Barn "look alikes". Sigh.
